A very sweet Christmas story by a local author. I love that this was based on historical facts from the Civil War. Proud that I am the first to rate this book on Goodreads.

A heartwarming story that will appeal to both children and adults. The author’s knowledge of the Civil War period lends this historical novel a down-to-earth realism.
