This is the second book I have read written by Lisa Day. Her stories are unique for sure. One has to have an open mind to truly enjoy them. In To Want The School Teacher, the events that take place may offend some, but only because they refuse to accept the story for what it is—a fictional creation for entertainment. All romances are. Having said that, I enjoyed this quick read and recommend it to those open-minded readers looking for something unique and refreshing.

Lisa Day writes a story that one might love to hate. To Want The School Teacher can be disturbing in nature but also manage to be filled with an intriguing plot line and real heartfelt emotion. Miss Day manages to pull on your heart strings in the most unconventional way. Her stories are unique, interesting and most of all entertaining. They are so off the beaten path that they are hard to put down. Somehow from the darkness it is hard to look away. I know I couldn't.

In junior high right before the English teacher destroyed her love of reading completely she discovered novels for teenage girls. Saved by a love story. As an adult she became a ferocious reader and easily read two, sometimes three books a day. ...more
