Let the nightmares commence.

In the pulse-pounding conclusion of this short, two-part story arc, J.C. Hutchins goes from the intricately detailed high-tech of Pramantha (some of my favourite near-future SF, for the record), and instead tackles something more organic, more primal, more ancient.

It's a fascinating shift in style, and if you've enjoyed The 33 until now, you won't be disappointed with this one.

We dive back in again in this installment of The 33. Again, this is a deviation from the hard science-fiction and action from Pramantha and steps into a sort of Police Procedural role. It is done so well that it’s hard to believe it’s written by the same person. It’s quite the testament to JC Hutchins’ ability to be able to bounce between genres like this while keeping a central theme that doesn’t deviate from the purpose of the series.

Bliss has the reigns here and if you thought she was one bad
