This book has plenty of classic games as well as variations on checkers and chess. I just loved the oraganization (chase games, spatial games, logic games, chess variations, etc.).

Just about all of these games have some real value (games that make kids think) and even though there is a photocopy of a game board that can be used for each game, my kids like to make their own based on the template provided.
