I bought this because I like the author, Cassandra Forsythe, and because I wanted to see the workouts. It was interesting. I liked most of the workouts, and the idea of using glucomannan in foods. I wasn't totally in love with the idea of any of the recipes or such a large use of artificial sweeteners, but that is just me.
I am sure the diet works, but it is not geared towards women with families. It would never work out for me to follow this diet completely. I did learn a lot from the studies cited. I also have started trying the supplement glucomannan.
There was some interesting information in this, but I'm most anxious to try out some of the recipes and see how they are. However, from experience I don't think the diet for my body shape is the one that would work best for me.
