This was a sweet tale of a young girl and an elderly lady learning to trust and love again. I gave it three stars because the protagonist, a freshman in high school, is portrayed as a much younger character--more like a sixth grader. So in my opinion, the characterization is not accurate for the age group. A little bit too innocent for a freshman in a public high school. If the setting was rural or in a different time period, it might be more believable, but not during the age of cell phones. ...more
