I like books with curses, magic, rituals, etc plus add in the romance and I'm all in love with a paranormal read. The Grey Curse brings what I enjoy to the table.
My summary- A new witch, a vampire sent to destroy her family line, and a bad guy who has a few twists up his sleeve... want to know more- go read the book.
My review-
I enjoyed the characters, witty conversation, they came up off the page, I connected, they connected, connection stayed good throughout the entire story. I adored the twist

I was delighted to find this book was not the standard witch on vampire story. For a first time author, Krista Kelley has proven she knows how to weave a believable story with plenty of vital information and a moving plot. What I liked most about The Grey Curse was the relationship building that occurred from the very start--it wasn't an accidental love story, but one that transpired as a result of effort. If you like paranormal romance with a touch of magic and fangs, then this is the book for ...more
****I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you****

The Grey Curse is a contemporary paranormal romance told from Selena and Caden’s POV.

Being addicted to Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Charmed in my 20’s, I love paranormal genre. The other watching those shows did was made me love strong female characters. Selena starts in denial of her being a witch. As she accepts her destiny, she starts to become a stronger character. Granted she has premonitions to help guide her

This is no "Curse".

This entire book, front to back, is a blessing.

One witch and one vampire...sounds uniform, right? Wrong. There is nothing average about Selena Grey, a young woman who just wants a normal life and Decan Colt a vamp who rebels against killing her defying his Maker in the process. I don't want to give anything way because I think this is *gives long look*...just the book you've looking for.

Rich, fluid dialogue dotted out among a formidable, enjoyable plotline made this entire st

There are so many things I enjoyed about this book. The Grey Curse grabbed me in the first couple of sentences: Rebecca Grey stared down at her blood covered hands. While it was animal blood, it still signified the horrible deed. Whoa…I couldn't put it down. I love it when that happens.
Now I'd thought every twist in a vampire/witch story had been done, but The Grey Curse proved me wrong. This is NOT your standard vampire/witch story—or typical love story. There are twists and turns weaved in th

It's hard to believe this is a debt book; it reads as if the author has dozens of books out already! The characters are well developed and could be the neighbor next door, or that man passing you in the grocery store. I liked the explanations, which made perfect sense and weren't conventional or contrived. Well done Ms. Kelley. Hope to read more from you in the future.

A wonderful must read debut novel. The story and dialogue flows well, and grips the reader immediately. I know in the first half dozen pages whether I want to continue reading a book, or put it aside and move on to something else. I could not put this one down and finished it in one sitting!

Awesome book Ms. Kelley! Can't wait to read more from this author.

A book that can snag you with a great start is one you’ll not put down. That’s how I felt when I started reading “The Grey Curse” add in also paranormal with a budding witch and a hitman vampire. You have the makings for an interesting journey. One that keeps your fingers flipping the page to see if the curse will be lifted for Selena, and if the vampire Decan will kill her like he had done to so many of her kind. But what you get is a woman who just wants to live a normal life, but instead find

Paranormal books aren't usually at the top of my TBR pile, but I thought I'd give The Grey Curse a shot. I'm happy I did!

This book moved along quickly with crisp dialogue and a very rich cast of characters. The story line kept me hooked and I loved waiting to see how Selena and Decan would finally come together and break the curse that had been cast upon Selena's lineage.

This book has all the fixings a paranormal fan would expect: fangs, witches, bad guys, curses...not to mention a healthy dose
