I received this book in exchange for an honest review from OnlineBookClub, and honestly I liked it. The Last Daughter of Lilith is a genre I'm familiar with and this was done well, not exceptionally but still it's worth reading.

The Last Daughter of Lilith is about a girl who doesn't believe in magic, and is completely ordinary in every sense of the word. Well, except for the whole her wishes come true whether they have good intentions behind them or not. Because of that Katrina has hidden insid

I received this book as a gift. I gave it two stars because the story is actually pretty interesting, but the grammatical and spelling errors in the book were so distracting that I had trouble reading it. There were at least 10 errors in the first two pages - and it continued throughout the book. After several strange occurrences leading up to the disappearance of her parents ...more

SPOILERS AHEAD!!!! The Last Daughter of Lilith was a captivating novel by new published author JL Metcalf. Magic, Mystery and Love! By Chapter 3, I found myself completely enmeshed in Katrina's story. Learning her whole life is a lie; her true parents and her magical abilities were all hidden to protected her from a power-hungry evil wizard. In the process, she discovers her own strength and how to open herself to love. I would highly recommend this book for anyone who enjoys the fantasy genre. ...more

First off, I have to say that the print quality of this book is superb. I love the front & back cover for it's simplicity yet strong color scheme- It grabbed my attention. The bold white pages and larger type font made it easier to view. Reading the story, I've come away with the assumption that the author really must like J.K Rowling. It's definitely in the vein of Harry Potter but definitely not "Harry Potter". The female protagonist is strong and on the cusp of adulthood and suddenly ...more
