This is a Lake District book with a difference for, as the title tells us, all the views are taken from the air. And what a superb job Jason Hawkes has done; he has provided us with a panoramic view of lakes, towns, villages and mountains that can be studied for quite a time while different aspects of the scenery are spotted. As well as the superb photography, Adele McConnel has provided succinct descriptions of each location interspersed with historical detail where appropriate for each shot.
