Really liked this book for those children who love animals. Teaches many different things about animals and how they react to stress from severe storm weather. It did seem a bit stilted and predictable, but I don't think students would notice or be bothered by it. There's a section at the end of the book written about a vet with ideas of how to take care of your pet in the event of a disaster and how to plan ahead. School is back in session! The bookshelf in the classroom seems to be kept chock full of this seris, maybe because J makes a beekinevtoward them. Brave girls rescue animals.
Good book. I liked it when the girl rescued the cat.
