When Lucas decides he wants Ambrose back, he needs a plan. Unfortunately, Lucas has never been very good at plans. By the time he’s gotten Ambrose’s attention, Lucas is in trouble with some dangerous people and broke to boot. Of course, he also gets into trouble with Ambrose, and if he’s very lucky, his former paramour will be in a forgiving mood.

Shelves: gay, historical
Cool story set in the old west with some intriguing paranormal elements. Homosexuals will get a man lynched, if he's found out, and the ability to partially/occasionally see the future is just as dangerous.

Lucas has been saddled with both. He is the narrator, and boy, does he know how to get in trouble! His plan of getting Ambrose's attention may work, but it also puts him in mortal danger.

Missouri Dalton is a writer of horror/paranormal contemporary fantasy and alternate historical novels.
