If the television show would have continued in this direction, I would never have missed a single night that "Smallville" would have aired.

Season 11 is still growing strong, a great mix of old school smallville and an expanding multiverse have made this a must read for me. Miller is constructing what seems to be quite an impressive story arc, been able to use such a plethora of DC stories to draw from means that smallville is highly enjoyable. Poor Lex. Will he ever be right in the head? Luckily for us, he won't. We see a deeper side of Lex in these issues, which was always the best part about the show. Seeing both sides and understanding motivations of good and evil makes you see why people do what they do. Having Rocket Red soldiers was an added bonus to the issue. And what is the big world-shattering event that is coming?! Well crafted with a nice set up in the end. Enjoy!

The world now knows Superman is an alien, and they don't like it. A monitor has landed in Russia, and Lex goes to see it. Clark tags along too. There's some great interplay between Clark and Lex that really reminded me of the series when they were good friends. A very good read.

This was a big improvement over the last volume. I missed Oliver but was excited about the Dick Grayson cameo. looking forward to more.
