This was a nice, short tale (very few short stories these days are actually short, have you noticed that?) about how different from their online personas people can be.
Fun and fast, I recommend this tale to fans of well written short stories.

Stranger danger doesn't get much stranger.
Burke delivers the unexpected in this lean, mean, stripped down little shocker of a short story that would translate into one Hell of a radio play.

Short but sweet

Kealan Patrick Burke has got to be one of my favorites and I have recommended his books to my friends over and over. This is short story that probably only took 15 minutes to read, but those minutes are well spent.

as always, KPB has crafted a short story that will make your skin just crawl. While I prefer the earlier story, this one was still a great short blast. This story shows that the art of the short story still thrives out there in the world. Good fast read.

Didn't really enjoy this as much as I should. +1 star since I didn't really see that ending coming!

Born and raised in a small harbor town in the south of Ireland, Kealan Patrick Burke knew from a very early age that he was going to be a horror writer. The combination of an ancient locale, a horror-loving mother, and a family full of storytellers, made it inevitable that he would end up telling stories for a living. Since those formative years, he has written five novels, over a hundred short ...more
