My rating for this book is most likely influenced by an epic fail of major propotions by a book I read yesterday. I had stopped reading this one part way through to start this anticipated book by a favorite and trusted author.I was upset after reading that book and needed something to cleanse my palate after the bad taste that was still lingering in my mouth like a really bad tuna sandwich!
Anyways, back to this romance, for the most part,it was a highly enjoyable romance with a likeable if somewha

Its funny how some heroes go from the most aggravating and egotistical to sweet , romantic and tender by the end. That's what Roberto gave me.. Roller coaster of emotions. He was so absolutely convinced he wouldn't ever need a woman more than a temporary distraction. But sweet virginal Cora turned his world upside down. This was instant attraction but love... That took time to grow and it worked because Roberto fell. And watching him fall was adorable.
I had a few moments of intense dislike in t

Lots of work really... and maybe a epilogue?

This book is Mildly better then some of her other books from this series.
I just don't like these Heroes in this series and how they are always just for the weekend type thing. They want to have sex until they get the heroines out of their system.
Like she is some disease or something.
They are not very alpha to me.
Its all one and done.
"Don't call me and I am just not that into you" deal.
And the heroine has no self respect either to accept that kind of relationshi

I really enjoyed this one. The H was so wonderfully possessive and jealous. I loved when he would say she was his and demanded that she say it too. I like this author. She writes the kind of H I love.

I really enjoyed this book, this author writes books I enjoy.

Cora and Roberto were together way before they met. Cora is in Italy after her parents died, she's decided to live her life while she can then finish school. After her best friend and her boyfriend Giancarlo who is Roberto's brother, suggest she travel to Siena to watch the famous horse race Palio. She's assaulted on the train and robbed without a choice she's forced to ask for help.

Roberto watches Cora walk towards him and wants her
Tamika, this one is also very meh. I haven't anything to say that would sell this one to you. Also, just like the other books in this series, I'm not a fan of the hero's behavior.

A predictable story wherein the first part, boy meets girl and falls for her, happens so quickly it almost isn't there, and the last part, where boy romances girl and gets her to fall for him, drags on and on. There's no doubt what the outcome will be (no conflict) and the reader is left wishing to get the whole thing over long before anyone's wishes are fulfilled.

If you don't want your characters to experience any growth, this is your book.

The hero was a bit of an asshat for part of the book so while I wanted to love the story, I only liked it.
