I borrowed a group of these at the library - put them on hold, sight unseen - as I was curious about this art of Japanese thread making. I had read it in another book and thought it might be an awesome thing to do as Christmas gifts. I nixed this idea quite quickly after seeing the bland, incredibly complicated, black and white drawings of how to make them.
