The last book I read was the Girl From Playa Blance. The girl from playa Blanca had a good plot but was not very well written.

The Girl form playa Blanca is about Elena and her brother Carlos coming up from their Mexican town Playa Blanca to find their, who lives in L.A. When they get their find out that he has moved and no neighbors know where he is. Elena finds work and a place to stay while she is looking for her farther.
