I was lucky enough to be paid to proofread this book. It's a terrific selection of poets from Minnesota's history (published a year before the sesquicentennial), featuring quite a few women and people of color, I'm happy to say. I discovered Wang Ping and Heid Erdrich through this book, both powerful voices and talented poets.
