This was a decent read, but I'm really not sure who it's meant for. Most of the material in this book is material that is compiled from the manga, which means that if you're a fan of the manga and you've already read it (and own the volumes), then you've already read everything in here. i gave this a five star because of the series...not necessarily because this is a five star book. it is interesting because it gives some additional information that wasn't in the nine volume manga series. while i love this series but i doubt that most would because it is pretty hardcore japanese. if you enjoy manga and the culture of okaku japan then you would love this...if you don't know what i'm talking about then don't bother.

A lot of reused material from the Genshiken series with a small amount of new material. Only for hardcore fans of the manga
