A great book for your school! This little tale gives students the opportunity to imagine their own version of the most amazing cake ever! If you're an Art teacher like myself, show your students the work of Wayne Thiebaud's cakes to inspire them to create delicious pieces of art. A fun book for all ages!

I laughed at this book. Chef Pierre whips up a delicious birthday cake, but Annabel says it’s too plain. A crowd gathers as Chef whips up more cakes, each one grander than the next, but Annabel is still too fussy. Until Chef Pierre’s last cake has Annabel zipping and jumping and dancing, but not for long. Poor Chef Pierre! Annabel is so fussy.

Ken is a Sagittarius, 6ft 4, mesmerising blue eyes, striking complexion and unfortunately a compulsive liar (5ft 5 and as ugly as a bucket of nails). No seriously, he is devilishly handsome, though you’d never know it to look at him – it’s an inner beauty. It’s all in there somewhere!

Ken began his professional life as a chef before trading his frying pan for a pirate sword and moving into children
