Oh boy, will you need your tissues for this wonderful book. Reading it in public (like I did) is not advised! This book is written quite uniquely from a triple POV and I really enjoyed this style. It allows each character to become real and for them to burrow their way into your heart. I'm not going to give away any spoilers except to say that this book has A twist I for one, didn't see coming. Well done to author Lorraine Britt for building the tension so exquisitely yet secretly so that the ...more

This book gutted me on every level. I am prior military & everything about this book spoke to me to the point that I was getting my nails done and had tears streaming down. I have wondered how I was going to write this review & all I can say is READ THIS BOOK! If you READ NO OTHER BOOK READ THIS ONE! I don't think I will be able to reread this book because that is how much it gutted me. It is kinda like the movie Acts of Valor I watched it once, but I don't think I could put myself ...more

What can I say, I love Lorraine Britt. Not only because she is a dear friend but also because she writes solid stories with incredible plots. Yes, sometimes her characters are simple or fall in love too quickly in what I call "love at first site" stories but they are still damn fun to read.

The Passions of Honor is no exception to this rule. The story follows Eli, an Army NCO with the Special Forces who is about to head off on another taxing mission. He's married to the love of his life Katherine

This is the second book I've read by this author and it's definitely my favourite. I really loved this story.

Eli and Katherine were childhood sweethearts. They are happily married. This is what happens when a friend asks someone for a promise. I found this to be a sad but beautifully written story.

If you like military books then I highly recommend this story.

This was such a moving book. The unending love of one for the other is so strong and undeniable. This was a well written book and brought me to tears several times for different reasons in the story. Just a great book.

The Passions of Honor is the first book I have read from author Lorraine Britt. I was offered this book in exchange for an honest review.

Eli and Katherine are childhood sweethearts. He’s a Special Forces Master Sergeant, and she is the dutiful Army wife. The couple have just about given up on their hope of having children, but as Eli is preparing for another mission, Katherine gets the word that they are, finally, going to be parents. The joy they share is a testament to their unwavering love

Eli is a loving devoted husband who wants nothing than to make his wave happy and have a family. William is a devoted friend, doing what his friend asks of him, even if it is difficult for him. What starts out as keeping a promise, ends up being much, much more for William and Katherine.
This book was surprising. I loved Eli’s character, his job didn’t change him from the loving man he was. Both William and Eli are emotionally charged characters. I loved Katherine, she wasThis book will have you

I had never read anything by this author before. She had me hooked. I was so caught up in this book I stayed up all night to finish it. Lorraine Britt had me smiling, laughing out loud, crying, and torn in this book. I love the various POV so we got everyone’s story.

The soldiers, Eli and William, are so strong and yet so loving within this story. I really felt Katherine’s pain and happiness as she was going through it. I just wanted to go and hold my husband and never let him go. I can’

Although an enjoyable read, I felt it could have been more.
I was left disappointed with the outcome as William was left in an abyss and I have no clue why, but that made me dislike the main characters.
And it was too short.

30% through and I just couldn't hang. This so slow paced and just plan blah. What made it worse was that I read the reviews and I saw what in the end William is left with out a HAE. I am going to ask amazon for a refund.

Lorraine Britt is a fourth generation Native Texan who is also immensely proud of her Louisiana heritage and solid Southern roots. As an enthusiastic lover of the written word, inspiration struck Lorraine and she began to bubble over with her own ideas. Grasping hold of her lifelong dreams, it wasn’t long before she was putting pen to paper and letting her fingers fly over a keyboard to bring her ...more
