A Brighter Garden
A celebration of the 100th anniversary of the first publication of Emily Dickinson's extraordinary poetry, selected especially for children by Karen Ackerman. Tasha Tudor's vivid watercolors match the delicacy of the moment and capture the special connection between nature and humanity that Dickinson so brilliantly captured in her words.

Hard to rate because it's clearly much more than "ok" but *I* didn't particularly like it. I'm just not imaginative enough, or whatever, to appreciate Emily Dickinson's poetry, even though I do love Tudor's art. Ah well. Despite my low rating, I do recommend this to anyone interested in either artist.
A cute little illustrated book of some of the magical poetry by Emily Dickinson. It is divided into the four seasons, complete with beautiful pictures and well put together. Although it was not my type of poetry, I defiantly saw many sparks of genius in her writing.
