Recommends it for: hardcore noir fans!
Paul Duncan writes great TV Guide-size booklets that catalogue his favorite film genres. This ones pretty good if you want to follow film noir. I like the way he sets films into sub-categories, i.e. "Laura" = Obsessive Noir, "Odds Against Tomorrow" = Racial Heist Noir, "Scarlet Street" = Nightmare Noir, etc. Aren't they all?
