I don't know that I will finish this book on this first reading. It is an important non-fiction recording of oral histories in a particular area of Canada's far North, and gives some insight into what the life of the Inuit was like pre-colonial contact and likely with less change until about 50 years ago. The stories were mostly recorded many years ago, with a promise to publish them, and this has been done. All the people are either inter-related and/or the families knew each other.
