This book is well-written, but there are a few things I like to point out:
1. It doesn't cover anything about Pages and Numbers.
2. About Security, it talks about "FileVault," and I personally set it up. However, you cannot log in the system by using your Admin password. There are no tips to troubleshoot anything regarding "FileVault."
3. It's a 900 pages book. I am an avid reader, yet do not have the patience to go through 900 pages to learn about the features. The way Mr. Pogue write about this m

Pogue always does a good job, but this one didn't seem up to earlier editions for OS-X. Maybe he's getting tired. Or just didn't spend much time on an assistant's draft? He's a busy guy....

Still, the book does the job. A lot easier to have all this stuff in one place, than hunting it up all over the web.
