This book may be used to teach sequencing of event, the days of the week and even the seasons. This book would be excellent with a large prop like a large hat with different items on it. It may also be used to help children learn the different parts of a story (beginning, middle and end). Mrs Honey's Hat is good light hearted read aloud that will have your children laughing.

We borrowed this book with kit from the library. He loved the idea of putting and pulling the items on and off Mrs, Honey's hat! A great idea for toddlers and young children.
