I've not read anything quite like SOLO before, but its mix of history, mythology and eroticism is thoroughly beguiling. The main character Justine is a woman who knows what she wants, and by all accounts gets it. I am very curious indeed to see how this story evolves.

A tour de force of erudite literary execution so often lacking in contemporary writing. A real talent whose book is a manifestation of the inner tensions of the human spirit.
