A quite short, but chilling werewolf story. Rather than presenting us with the standard attack on an adult man, as is so common win werewolf stories, the victims in this tale are infants, and the narrator is given all the chances reasonable to prevent the death of another child, failing at the last moment. Another lovely tale from Saki.
