Not only was the heroine most obnoxious, but it took me a while to stop picturing Gold Eagle as Lucius Malfoy from Harry Potter based on the description of his hair. Weird plot and Barbieri can't seem to help delving into countless side stories to develop characters no one really cared about to begin with.
