Milo, the Black Wolves’ omega wolf, always stayed on the sidelines. He’s a hacker – not a badass. Hell, he can’t even get laid, much less play the part of a dangerous gang member.

But, in order to stop an ongoing gang war, Milo is unceremoniously thrust into the middle of the Tiger’s den as a nark (for the cops) and a spy (for the Black Wolves). Not to m

I thought this was going to be my favorite of the series, and it really was for most of its beginning, but then some of the scenes by the end escalated in a way that felt really lost of thought and bland.

Up to the meeting at the church, after the private dinner with Jin, I was really enjoying the book, but after that scene some scenes turned really childish and naive and I ended up forcing myself to finish the book because they'd left a bad taste in my mouth. Ideas are dismissed too blandly, con
Needing this book for a Bingo Challenge, I neglected to pay attention to the "#5 in a series" designation. That was a mistake for me. Sometimes, I can jump into the middle, but this one took longer to get up to speed than was comfortable.

Our MCs, an Omega wolf shifter and an Alpha(?) tiger are working together in a labrynthian plot to ... .well.... It's complicated. Every character in the story, and there are a bajillion of them, has multiple motives, plots, and allegiances. Figuring out who's g

The poor writing got so annoying I've sworn off this author. Really. Littered with grammatical errors, typos and general sloppiness. Does the author really not know the difference between `phase' and `faze' or when to capitalize a title? Or when to use the past tense? The sheer number of "you're" instead of "your" and typical typos might have set publishing records in this series. The earlier books at least were better, the vast amount of egregious errors at least compensated by an interesting ...more

I won this book as part of a Goodreads Giveaway.

I wouldn't normally pick this kind of book off a shelf but I chose to enter this Giveaway because I wished to explore different genres of books. I am pleasantly surprised to say that I quite like this book. It is well written and has an interesting story line, as well as engaging characters, that kept me reading to the last page. The fact the story was seen through the eyes of two of the characters (switching between the two though out) was a refre

Same Comment for all the books in this series

I got the first book free and now I keep buying them. I think I'm addicted because the more books I read, the better they get. This is a series and it's better to read them in order but there are no cliffhangers, just good characters that have stories I want to read.

I think this is my favorite book out of this series so far.. I loved loved loved Milo ..he was so sweet and had such this innocent disposition about himself I just loved him.. And I felt Fei as well .. I felt all his emotions and understood his hatred for Mao.. It was also good to see the rest of the gang as well.. Milo is defiantly my favorite of pack!! I recommend this book and the series!!!

I liked this installment better than the first. It would be nice to see Jin next perhaps? The cover is not good in my opinion though; I took Milo to get a short haired nerdy type and Fei to have the long black hair (but he is Asian) so I ignored that and used my imagination.
