Wow, the start of this comic was a prime example on how to make your characters look like assholes because you have to write them out of your story. In fact, you have to wonder who is the bigger asshole here, Sunfire for just leaving or most of the old X-Men for just leaving because they have grown up… You know, I am sure there are tons of threats still out there and so what they are doing (since they form no team of their own) seems simply selfish. Could they not write some better reason? Like ...more

Very interesting one, full of new X-men. There are some black hole, but I bet I will find answer in Giant X-men #1, that is suppose to be the introduction to this new serie of X-men.

Chris Claremont is a writer of American comic books, best known for his 16-year (1975-1991) stint on Uncanny X-Men, during which the series became one of the comic book industry's most successful properties.

Claremont has written many stories for other publishers including the Star Trek Debt of Honor graphic novel, his creator-owned Sovereign Seven for DC Comics and Aliens vs Predator for Dark Hors
