Ghetto is probably an understatement! I almost put this book down because of the author's spelling, grammar, and redundant use of the same phrases repeatedly. It usually is not too bothersome when the character's dialogue is in Ebonics but it really gets under my skin when the naration is as well! At times Kira was just too perfect and it was hard to believe. I didn't like all the label names that kept being dropped, especially because I couldn't imagine a millionaire wearing these normal brands. Anyway the story line between her and Ricky was the basic hood novel storyline. What kept my attention was the Nicky storyline, I wanted to know how it would turn out. Its an okay book. Okay, so I know I'm late in all.
I have read "Im still wifey", but never got the chance to read part one.
Well, now I finally found it in the store and is currently reading it.
Then next I'll go after the rest of the series because if you don't know by now Kiki Swinson is SHIT! and is one of my favorite Authors.
Anywho,the book is so far good of course and is letting me know everything that lead to part two which I read! Loving it, KiKi Swinson never lets me d

This book introduced me to the character, Kira, owner of a successful hair salon and the wife of a wealthy yet feared drug kingpin. The story was very interesting. Although, I did not particularly enjoy the ending, this book was a page-turner and a must read.

I really enjoyed this book. This book teaches a very valuable lesson about Karma. This book was about a money hungry wife of a very wealthy drug dealer, who betrayed him and she was in turn betrayed.

I'm not a big fan of urban novels. This book was very entertaining. It was written very simply. The novel was a very "deep" novel. I would say it was very shallow. Overall, I enjoyed this easy to ready book.

OMG! This is the first book I read and I am sooooo hooked I have already purchased 4 of the 9 books that she has. Just get the book and you will not be disappointed!
