Waking Up Dying tells the heartbreaking story of the last year and a half of Shearlean Duke's life after being diagnosed with brain cancer. Her husband Robert Duke wrote the book to encourage other caregivers to aggressively conquer the bureaucratic challenges of our current healthcare system.
