This book was pretty good. Considering all of the characters were just so out of touch with reality. Things happened that any rational person would never let pass. The main character, Anastasia / Stacie , was very wushu washy. At the prospect if her man, Joseph, she gave up on going back to her kids. Not that Joseph wasn't hot as hell. Still he abandons her and she marries the next guy less than two months later. Really??? And the new husband accepts that she still loves the one that left her. ...more

Amazing story, as usual!

Parris Afton Bonds never fails to amaze me with her imaginative storylines, characters and in-depth historical research. This book is deeply romantic, spanning time, space, race, culture and social norms of the 1870's US. Her descriptive prose and spiritualism weave a story of starcrossed lovers from different eras...from modern day 1990's Stacie is literally shot back into the 19th century, awakened by the "breath of life" given by Joseph. Now I've never been a fan of th

For All Time by Parris Afton Bonds is a great old fashioned historical romance set primarily during the 1870's in Texas. The story centers around 40-something Stacy who has lived a life without ever being in love. She is shot during a cavalry reenactment and, at the moment she is shot, she time-travels back into her grandmother's 20-year old body when her grandmother was shot during an Indian raid. Stacy is rescued by a tall dark and handsome halfbreed and, in true historical romance fashion, ...more

Great love story

I do not usually read romance stories. I find them just copies of each other you know boy meets girl. boy loses girl etc etc etc. But this has me up half the night reading. Heck I think I feel in love with Joseph. What women wouldn't with the way the author described him. LOL Good story one that I enjoyed a lot.

Satisfying time-travel romance story where the heroine is transported back to life 100 years ago at a Texas cavalry fort. She is torn between wanting to return to her time...and her two children, she meets her great grandfather, who falls in love with her. Besides that, she meets an Irish-Indian halfbreed with whom she falls in love.

I loved this book. The characters were interesting, and the premise of the book was excellent. The Author drew you into the story and kept you interested! Highly recommend this book for a quiet fireside read on a dark, stormy night.

Well written, it is a beautiful romance story.

I'm waiting anxiously for the next installment.

An interesting idea for a book which did not play out well and had terrible narration.Julie S.Halpern gives a lackluster reading.
During a reenactment a woman is shot and sent back in time to live her Grandmothers life.
This audiobook was provided to me at no cost for a fair and honest review
