Shelves: military-history
Too much use of insinuation, slang and idiom to be easy to read or useful to a historian. Author assumes reader has knowledge of other fighter squadrons, and uses this knowledge to compare the 43rd favorably to these squadrons, but does not tell the reader what this data is.

Overall the book reads as a shill piece about how great the 43rd Squadron is, and this diminishes the book's historical value.
