About the Book:

Sara Baintree has been overlooked for most of her life, she is more of a wallflower than social butterfly, she blames this on her father, he has just passed away and she is at the funeral home to make the arrangements. Andy Anderson has been carrying around 18 years of guilt, he blames himself for the accident that took his fathers life and left his mother unable to care for herself. He is also at the home making arrangements for his mother, she has just passed away. When Sara and Andy meet and ...more

I enjoyed this book, but I did have a few reservations.

The book, Sara and Andy is a whirlwind of love at first sight and romance, with a bit of mystery and suspense. It begins with Sara and Andy both losing the only living parent they each have left. And that is how they meet, at the funeral home. They quickly (within a day or so), decide they were destined for each other and want to spend their lives together. Both have secrets to learn about each other, things from that past that come to light

Is there any truth to Love at First Sight? Ronald Glanz is a talented author who writes an amazingly sweet story of Love at First Sight that is believable with well written characters. I think it is probably rare but love at first sight can happen as it did with Sara and Andy. I have read several books by Ronald Glanz. Loved them all including this one.
Sara and Andy meet at a funeral home and are instantly drawn to each other. They want to marry as soon as possible. Sara is there to make arrange

This whole story takes place within a six week period – from Aug 27 until Oct 5. Andy and Sarah meet at the funeral home – each getting ready to bury their remaining parent who they have been the caretaker of for many years. Consequently they have had little time for friends or relationships and both are starved for love. They quickly fall in love and get married (3 days later) and come up with a scheme to take down their tormentor – who is the same person for both of them.

On the one had I loved

Have found love at a funeral home, one of the most unlikely places to find love, Sara and Andy found each other. After being care givers to their parents, neither of them have time for much of a social life, which resulted in a fast marriage, money and then come up with a plan to get back at the person who is making their life miserable. The plot is a page turner, highly unbelievable, but interesting and will keep your interest, as the reader. I'm not a fan of Andy's gambling addictions or his ...more

Sara and Andy by Ronald Glanz

The plot of this book is pretty good. Who wouldn't want to see justice done to someone for an evil deed done years ago? Unfortunately, the writing style is so distracting, the book was difficult for me to read. There were mixtures of points of view. There were odd mixes of verb tense within a sentence. There were also the mixing of pronouns in the same sentence ("their" and "your" when about the same people). There was also the odd habit of the characters addressing each other by name in every ...more

Sara and Andy was a sweet love story of love at first sight, in a funeral home to beat all. Sara, a minister’s daughter, and Andy, who took care of his invalid mother, had so far had very lonely existences in their adult life. Both losing their remaining parents, they meet at a funeral home and start up a love story. This was an interesting read being both lighthearted and funny, but also a tale of tragedy and dark secrets. It was also a rags to riches story that was interesting to see unfold. ...more

Do you believe in love at first sight?
This book was a page turner. I couldn't wait to get a chance to continue reading. Every day I squeezed in time to see what was happening.

I was so happy that Sara and Andy found each other in a unlikely place (a funeral home). They both had hard lives before meeting each other. This story was so sweet.

The story takes off and you are following their lives and the people involved in their lives, There is sadness, forgiveness, trust, love, suspense, and relatio

Sara and Andy meet in a funeral home, when they each come to plan the funeral for their loved one's. They had never met before. It was love at first sight. The next several weeks are a whirlwind of activity. I enjoyed the book tremendously. Ronald Glanz has written another book that draws the reader in and keeps him in suspense as to what was going to happen.
I received the book from the Book Club Network in exchange for my honest opinion.
