Interesting premise for the cause of the apocalypse. The main thing I like is there is just enough romance to keep the story from being all about war. I like that all of the characters have strengths and in their own way. All of the main male characters are strong and have skills much needed to ensure the survival of the group while at the same time can nurture young children and provide for the group. The women are strong I their own right . It is just

a good all around series and I think it wou

Probably worth the 3 bucks

I did have to skip several pages. Some boring parts. The book is long so I guess that's a plus.

2,5 stars.

I'm sorry I feel bad to give the book 2,5 stars. I don't know why but I felt something wasn't good enough thereor maybe I just wasn't so into it?

The writing: Okay. (3,5 stars)

The character: Reagan was something. She was so childish. Annoyed me, swearing too much and her behaviour? I don't like her. Tired of her oh whatever
And John also was too kind to her, even liked her! It was pissed me off the most. That woman is too much!
Kelly-Hannah, they were so cute. I liked them.

A definite read!

I truly enjoyed this story and I am looking forward to reading book 3. It was exciting and I caught myself almost looking ahead to see if something would happen. But, I gave it only 4 stars because there are a few exceptions. Most situations are too dragged out and it gets to the point you want to say "alright already!" (But I guess that's what makes it exciting) Also, typos do not normally bother me (book one was riddled with them) but if I'm going to pay $5.99 for a kindle boo

Good story

I said it with the first and I still feel this way: this story would benefit greatly from a good editor. There aren't many typos or mistakes, just stilted conversation and areas that could use some serious cutting. But I am really into the story even with those issues. It is odd that this is written by a female author because it seems to have a sexist slant. Could I be a badass during an apocalypse? No. But the way it's always referred to as "the men" keeping them safe, making decision

This is crazy to even say, but it's better than book one, which really liked. There is a ton more action!! The theme of this book should've been "Let the Bodies Hit the Floor." John comes alive in this second part when they go to the city for supplies. He's not the "nice" guy everyone thinks from book one. Ranger gets in touch! Loved it! No sissy characters here! The parts at the farm were a little romancy, but it's cool cuz Kelly's still a bada** and it loks like his brother's gonna betoo. The ...more

Great Read

I started with a sample of book one and quickly bought the trilogy. I raced through the first one and enjoyed the second one even more. I doubt it's going to take more than two days to get through the third. I like apocalypse books but don't like when they are too political or religious or they mock those who aren't prepared for the end of the world. This has none of that. It's about family and loyalty and how important trust is when times are tough. Really enjoyed everything.
Better than the 1rst installment, we saw the progress of the relationships (and lack of) between the protagonists, well developed characters, fast-pack action, alpha male and badass little Doc.

Mrs Morris made a great effort with detailing the inner workings of the group (and perharps sometines a little bit repetitive).

Can't wait for the final in the Trilogy, hopefully Sept. 2014

In the first book Reagan is a self reliable tough chick but the more she hangs around John the more submissive and clumsy she becomes. I really don't like the way this is leading since a Woman can be he usual self and still love a man. She doesn't turn to a completely different person. If this continues I will not read the last book.

McClane Apocalypse book two

It ended all too soon. I can not wait to delve into the next book and explore what new developments await the family. Your heart aches reading some of these situations knowing that should or world end in whatever situation as we know it, many of these situations would, indeed, come into fruition.

Just as good as the first! Can't wait to see what happens next. Love this group of characters. Don't know if I can stay up all night to read the next book and will probably fall asleep with my kindle in my lap

What's up with book number 3, can't wait for it.
Funny thing, I was done with the book, when Reagan felt too childish at the beginning...
and suddenly I'm waiting for the next book...:)

“Reagan remembers so many people in their country turning against firearms and the strict gun laws that had passed over the years, even though everyone had said it could never happen. Her grandfather had always been dead set against any and all gun legislation, although many of his friends had not agreed with him. Now Reagan’s quite sure that all of the unarmed people in the country were wishing they hadn’t been so yielding to the wishes and demands” 0 likes
