Modern economy reality: you can't cut the umbilical cord until the kid has a job.

Three pages into this book, I was composing snarky review headlines. "Be a big boy, Jr! Read the book yourself!" Or "Incoming!!! Helicopter Parents!" A book to help parents "guide" their kids through college and into the working world? Really?

Isn't college for adults? Apparently not. The author offended some parents by using the term students. "That's my CHILD!" one mommy wailed.
