Loved the artwork except for the very first 'chapter' (a little back story for Toric) where the artwork really wasn't for me. The rest was great, I enjoyed the story... but I did feel that this volume echoed the events of the series more than mirroring. What I mean is, in Volume 1 we got a side story that runs alongside Season 5 and gives a little more insight and new storylines to support and enhance the storyline I'd already watched. In volume 2, which is set somewhere between seasons 3 & ...more
A fantastic continuation and addition to the story. I was a bit concerned at the beginning because I was worried that Toric was going to be featured very heavily in the book (he was one of my most hated characters from the show) but luckily he was only in it at the start while they showed a bit of his back story. The main story was excellent! It took place between seasons 3 & 4, when the guys were in prison and showed us some of what we had missed. It explained what happened between Samcro ...more

I didn't think this was quite as strong as the first volume, but still really good. The comic does a great job of making you feel as though you are actually watching the tv show.

We had a one shot story starring the corrupt junkie US Marshal Lee Toric, who was portrayed by Donal Logue on the show. The other storyline was set in Stockton Prison during the time period the SOA were incarcerated. The comic is really doing a good job of adding another layer to the tv mythology.

Ok... Before saying anything else... in this graphic novel volume 2 I've noticed that they made Tara with brown eyes and Gemma with blue eyes. FOR GOD'S SAKE IT'S THE CONTRARY!!! Yeah I know it may seems a small thing but since I love the show more than anything this mistake annoyed me quite a bit!!
Still enjoyed volume two more than the first. Morte Jackson in this one!!

Said that I'll just attach the review I've written for the first volume to explain why just 4 stars and not 5.

I love the TV sh

Second volume was really good it gave you an insight into what happened while the guys were in prison and what happened between them and the Russians. It was really good but this didn't connect to volume one and that was a bit confusing. Overall liked it for the most part. Will continue reading SOA graphic novels.
