Short Paranormal Love Story with Shapeshifters

Valentina is an extroverted journalist. She works at the local newspaper in the small town of Woody Creek, just outside Aspen, Colorado.

She also turns into a wolf.

In her culture, youngsters may leave the pack at twenty four years of age. Valentina has reached her age of independence, and stayed behind when her family left for better hunting grounds.

Widower Darius is also a shapeshifter. He feels an immediate connection to Valentina.

There is much potential in the story, but I felt it was very abrupt, didn't engross me and the sentence building was cut-and-dried. And in many places repetitive and completely implausible.
