Brunner was probably 28 when this Ace Double came out. Although he was already widely published by then, it still seems possible that The Space-Time Juggler might've been written much earlier & awaited publication partially b/c it's a novella & partially b/c it's Sword-&-Sorcery - a genre I wdn't've expected Brunner to write in. Un libro de ciencia ficción que a pesar de que lo leí en poco tiempo no terminó de convencerme del todo, muy centrado en exponer terminología e hipótesis sobre lo que ocurría que en desarrollar la trama o los personajes. Con muchas preguntas por responder que al final consiguen sus respuestas pero dejando para el final la pregunta mayor la viento.

John Brunner was born in Preston Crowmarsh, near Wallingford in Oxfordshire, and went to school at St Andrew's Prep School, Pangbourne, then to Cheltenham College. He wrote his first novel, Galactic Storm, at 17, and published it under the pen-name Gill Hunt, but he did not start writing full-time until 1958. He served as an officer in the Royal Air Force from 1953 to 1955, and married Marjorie Ro ...more
