I didn't really like the Clique Summer Collection books. It just wasn't the same w|o the rest of the members of the Clique. I understand it was supposed to be their own adventures over the summer but most of them were mushy & kind of weird? It's not the same kind of drama & tension that I enjoy while reading the Clique Series. It was an appealing book, but not as good as the others. I didn't like it TOO much. And since this book was about Claire, you could just say; I don't really 'like' ...more

The book "Claire" by Lisi Harrison was a easy book to rate. This book was classified under fiction, as in the book was made up. "Claire" had a lot of humor in it and had real life scenarios that normal girl teenagers might go through. This book can mentally help you in making good decisions in life and because of that matter I rate the book "Claire" with 4 stars.
This book was what you would consider a easy read. The setting pretty much stayed in one area in a town called Westchester, and there

I enjoyed this book. It was a fast, enjoyable read. I have not read any of the other books in "The Clique" series. This book takes place during summer vacation while Claire is home in Florida. I liked her a lot. There were many passages mentioning how different her life is when she is at school with the rest of The Clique in Westchester. At her school the "Pretty Committee" sound terrible, causing her stress and bullying her, making her feel like she cannot be herself. I do not believe I would e ...more

Loved the story.
Claire goes back to Florida for the summer and she missed her friends. They haven't changed at all. But to her friends, she has changed...and she's changed for the worst. The story revolves around how Claire wants to prove to her friends that she hasn't changed a bit by helping her friends get ready for the pageant. Unfortunately, an unexpected someone visits Claire during her stay and now she's torn between proving herself to her old friends and proving herself to her visitor.

I liked this book automatically because it's the Clique, and I love them. This book was kind of predictable though, just by reading the back and the summer Massie chart, or whatever it's called. ( Lol. ) I would want to change some things that happened, but that would basically be Massie-fying things, which is pretty funny, to understand this review, you probably have to read all the other Clique books in the series. I liked this book, but thought there could be a little more detail in the end. ...more

I'm just gonna come out and say it...I CAN'T STAND SAS! Claire and her friends were cute in the pre-quel, but now they were just plain rude. They were mentally manipulative, disrespectful towards Massie and her things, and just straight up LBRs. I have never disliked a group of characters so much in my entire life. They weren't friends to Claire, they were bullies. The worst kind of bullies play mind games. At least Massie was always up front with her meanness. And I hated the fact that they thou ...more

This book was about what Claire did over the summer. She went back to her home town of Orlando to visit some of her old friends (Sarah, Sari, and Mandy). She was extactic to be reunited with her old friends, but unfortunatley they didn't feel the same way. After spending all of her time with Massie and the "pretty committe", Claire had changed, and according to her friends it was for the worst. They think that she has turned into a Massie Block wannabee. Then the worst possible thing happened, a ...more

This story is about the last girl to be joined in Massie Block's clique Claire. Claire spends her summer in Orlando with her old friends, But sadly, her friends notice that she has changed, and for worse.

2)My impression of the book is that people should not try and change them self's, unless they want to. Definitely, though, not for other people. I also learned that people should not try to impress others, if they can't do it without changing, because if you can't please them with yourselves th

I remember I was excited to read Claire's story, mostly because we never really got to see what her life was like in Orlando and what her friends were like. But then MASSIE had to show up and ruin everything, forcing the spotlight on herself like always. She already had a book written entirely about her, not to mention she's always the center of attention in pretty much every book, why couldn't this book be just about Claire? I'm not saying this book was bad, but Massie took the fun out of it, b ...more
Massie is the first book of the Summer Collection, a group of side stories revolving around the members of the "Pretty Committee" from Lisi Harrison's "The Clique" series of popular and controversial books. Each of the Summer Collection titles follows one of the characters through her summer vacation in between the seventh and eighth grades (or, chronologically, in between Sealed With a Diss and Bratfest At Tiffany's in The Clique series).

Considering i LOVE The Clique Series, i was pretty sure this book was going to be awesome. And it was! :) This book was one of the 5 books from the The Clique Summer Collection that talks about one of the new members, Claire Lyons (or as Massie, the ruler of The Clique, calls her: Kah- Laire.) In this book, Claire is in Orlando, Florida for the summer with her Sari, [Ah:]Mandy (Her name is Mandy, but she says Amandy makes her sound like she's 16, even though they are all 12), and Sarah, aka her ...more

I love this book so much!!! So far, Claire's Westchester friends, Massie, isn't getting along, nor being nice to, Claire's Florida friends, Sari, Sarah, and Mandy (Amandy). I feel bad for Claire, because she's going through a lot right now- her 2 sets of friends have met-not good- and also, for the Miss Kiss Pagent in Kissimme, Florida, Claire is one of the judges, and her 3 Florida friends are in the pagent, so she has to vote for one of them. Her Florida friends got into a fight about who Clair ...more

Cute, quick read. Massie surprised me in the end, if butfor a brief minute. I would not have guessed that Claire would see herself as becoming so much more like Massie after just 1 year in Westchester considering all the PC has put her through, but especially when reunited with her childhood FBFFs. Just goes to show how impressionable young girls really are.

Ok book. Comparing to other clicque books not that good. but ok. Claire goes to orlando for the summer and Massie comes over. Her friends are competing for a beauty pagnant, and Claire is asked to judge, and Massie competes as well. And Claire helps both of her friend groups, and she doesn't want to judge them. Then she gives them all 8s. She votes finally for Gracie, instead of her friends or Massie and her friends see..and she sends a text saying that she gave them 8's all the way,,and she had ...more

In this book,Claire has a lot of drama. Starting with the fact that Claire is back in town to reunit with her friends in Florida. Everthing goes along great for except one thing, her friends that she has changed. for her to win her friends back, she must become who she was before and enter this beauty pageant to prove her friends wrong about what they think.

I can connect to this because I personally had a problem like this in seventh grade with my friends. You see, my friends thought that I have
This book can get a little boring at first but when the pageant starts to be mentioned in the book, things are starting to turn. This book can also be liked if u like books about friendship, and revenage. It may seem kind of boring at first, but once you start to read more, it starts to get good. Anyway, this book is about Claire returning to her home place. There, she starts to hang out with her old friends again. But Claire notices her friends have bad taste in fashion. But then Claire and her ...more

Sadly, this is the last book in the fabulous CLIQUE SUMMER COLLECTION series. It really ends with a bang, however!

Claire is back in Florida with her old best friends, and then Massie shows up. How can Claire handle having a group of friends that are not as popular as she is now, and Massie (who makes Westchester look like a snob town) in the same place?

And on top of all that, Claire is asked to judge a competition that she grew up wanting to be a c

I didn't like this book as much as I liked "Kristen", but I didn't dislike it as much as I disliked "ALicia." "Claire" was sort of shallow, those Florida girls were annoying, and there wasn't really any message except for watch out for bitches. The only good thing I saw was Massie showing she cared about Claire at the end. So this book gets a 2.5 rating.

I found myself cringing in disgust at Claire's FBFFs. Honestly, the whole conflict was so childish. Even though Claire did change a lot by being in the PC, her old best friends should be able to understand that everyone changes and moves on in their lives.

Still don't like Florida but yeah did Claire forget that picture she took of herself in the first book? You know, the picture of herself crying when the other girls were bullying her? She told herself she would always remember that.

I didn't like "Claire" much because of all the feuding BFFs! I think Sarah, Sari, and Amandy were too harsh on Claire for being Extremely Westchester (in their opinion) because I didn't think Claire had changed that much. You could tell Claire was looking for everything to meet Pretty Committee standards, but she is still her same emotional Bella Swan-ish self. I don't think SAS were very good friends to begin with, but I hate having my main character feel sad because then I feel sad, so I have ...more

Wasn't my favorite Clique book. Probably because of the lack of plot...even for a Clique book, which quite frankly don't have much plot to begin with. And even with that said, it all happened so quickly...and was somewhat unrealistically, yet again, even for a Clique novel. I feel like most of the summer novels from this series were kind of pointless and didn't contribute to the plot in the least bit. If I didn't feel a middle school nostalgia(haha not exactly the right word choice, but same kin ...more

I finished this book in a day. I found it hard to put down. Although the story is short it's terrifyingly awkward and great to read from the outside.
