The human face - it tells more about us than any other part of the body. At rest and in motion, in silence and in speech, the face sends a multitude of signals that convey our messages. Our face is our identity, and our means of recognizing others. Each pattern of facial features is truly individual.

The sub-title of this book tells more of what it's about than the title.

The Evolution of the Human Face:
What It Reveals • How It Deceives • What It Represents • Why It Mirrors the Mind

The text is well written and tied in to abundant illustrations. All in all, it's fascinating.
