Colour plates are fair to middling, but they do the job and the book has the advantage of being fairly comprehensive. Can't speak to the accuracy of the book, but the level of detail is remarkable, with such additions as correspondence, battle flags and weapons in addition to just uniforms. Detailed text on uniforms in accompanied by a general history of the Texas revolution and makes this a good general interest revolution that will also satisfy those interested specifically in uniforms.
