This was my first exposure to Jasmine Haynes' writing ... and my, oh my, she certainly got my attention with Double the Pleasure and Skin Deep, her two novellas featuring identical twins sisters, Kristen and Kirby Prescott. I've been hooked on Jas's books ever since.

I enjoyed Susan Johnson's novella as well, though I will never look at a Famous Amos cookie quite the same way again. [grin]

Different and enjoyable.

This book consists of 3 novellas about twins.

4 stars for WEDDING SURPRISE by Susan Johnson.
Great fun. Fun characters, neat guys, surprising predicament, neat ending.

For a list of my reviews of other Susan Johnson books, see my 3 star review of “Hot Property” posted 9/30/08.

4 stars for SKIN DEEP by Jasmine Haynes.
This was different from typical romance novels. The hero was short and bald, and they had an unusual relationship. They had never met in person but had a phone se

This book contained 3 stories, where each one of them dealt with twins.

I found the first one to be odd. Sophie has a crush on Jack, her new co-worker. Away for the weekend she decides to make her move. She finds herself cursing the phone ringing while she is in bed with him. She goes to her friend's room, where on the way she runs into Jack, a real WTF moment. In a panic Sophie realizes she bedded the wrong man. Not to be dissuaded, she goes on to go after him, achieved her goal and of course Ja

Excellent stories. All three of them. However, there is one thing that would have made the book even better and that is for Jasper and Camille to have their own short story. I think the fact that Jasmine Haynes gave both her twins their own stories made it even worse that Susan Johnson did not give Jasper his own story. I don't know if that makes sense, but I felt cheated when I finished the book.

And it all began rather serendipitously. Long ago, as they say, in another time, when fast food hadn't reached our area and the only shopping was what the feed mill offered, I was reading a book that annoyed me .

My husband was lying beside me in bed, watching TV. Turning to him, I sort of petulantly said, "How the hell did this book get published?"

"If you think you're so smart," he replied, with
