Love the Ghoul Anatomy in this one
The Holy Terror
This is finally getting a bit more interesting with the entrance of the new ghouls and factions and whatnot.

Sorry I don't have much else to say, but the volumes are starting to blend together.

One of the things I find really interesting is the different hierarchies of the ghouls and that the ghouls all have complexities like a human would. It's not just a "KILL ALL HUMANS" -type of thinking. That's really this series' strong-point because it makes you question whether it's "wrong" to eat humans

The 11th ward and all the crazy ghouls in it are the focus of this volume.

The spotlight on Rize's past and her death is getting intense, and I liked Banjou's character. It's too violent, and we get to know a little bit about Touka's life, I'm interested to know more about her.

I liked that we got information about ghouls and their types! It was so entertaining to read about them.
I don't like Juuzo's character. And not Ayato's character either. Ayato is handsome but cruel and jerk.
It was beautiful to see that Touka care so much about Kaneki.))
And Banjo was quite fine and sweet guy.
However if we talk about sweetness, I have to mention Kaneki-kun again and again, as you would get diabetes from his sweetness. I understand now why Kaneki fans are very protective of him. D

Woah! So much shit has yet again happened in this latest volume! I actually really love Ishida's art style and the way he can tell such a complex story... But I know that next volume is gonna be a hard one to read... *cough* Centipedes... *cough*.

Why is Ayato so fine, even if he is such an asshole?

I'm enjoying this series. It's nothing heavy or complex, but it's a fun narrative that has me looking forward to each new volume.

3.5 stars? 4?

This was a really important volume. A lot of things got explained, and a lot of it was content that never made it on screen.

Basically the whole volume was new content in regards to the anime. There were little scenes here and there that did make it to the anime. There's lots of Juzo in the volume which is nice for me since I like him. His stiches get explained which I appreciated since I was always a bit confused by them. He also gets the whoooooooollee she-bang about kagune expland

The main setting of this volume is the 11th Ward and the main topic is, you guessed it, the 11th ward.

This volume felt like construction to me. Let me explain. We had a bunch of new characters introduced, a completely new setting and the start of a whole new arc. There was even a chapter completely dedicated to explaining the types of ghouls and their kagune. As a result, I didn’t really connect with much because there wasn’t much to connect with! Two major fights both including new characters

Tokyo Ghoul, Vol. 6 continues the series' strong streak, answering some questions, providing us with more, and even explaining in good detail the hierarchy of the ghouls.

The artwork is strong as ever, and the plot continues to unfurl with twists and turns that I don't always see coming. Even in its sixth volume, Ishida introduces us to a variety of new characters who, for the moment, remain grounded in their tropes, from the estranged sibling to the eccentric, sadistic weirdo who can act out see

The actual rating is 3,5 stars.

This volume felt like a filler book. I watched anime so I know the bare skeleton of the events and I was anxiously waiting for Some Bad Things To Happen (guess it'll be in next volume). So I was kind of disappointed. To be fair, vol. 6 had lots of interesting & important scenes for plot in the future. Unfortunately they are uncomparable to previous volumes in intensity. Things were relatively moderate. There're a lot of scenes that were cut out for anime, so I

2.5 This one was really hard for me to get into and I am really not into this story arc...I hate to say it, but everything that happened...didn't care. Not at all. Meh. I had absolutely no interest in picking this up to read it (which is why it took me four days to finish it...which is a bit long for a manga). I am either going to take a break from this series and see if I want to come back to it, or I might abandon it here. Maybe I'll try watching the show and see if that gets me excited about ...more

Tokyo Ghoul 6

Ok, I have a doubt, what with the kid-agent, is he half-ghoul? Why can he kill humans without consequences??

This is the setup of some big fight. On one side we have the anti-ghoul agency, they have more agents, and apparently plan to go against the district 11. Apparently the District 11 is now run by some more evil ghouls, one of them is brother to Touka. Apparently they are looking for Rize, so they capture Kaneki since he smells like Rize. Looks like there is some mystery surroun
