Really good. I did not know anything about the back story, just picked up this particular group of stories from the public library ('cause it was low risk to do it that way). Glad I did! Nice art work, and writing that is top notch.

Spider sees "Magical Truthsaying Bastard Spidy--Freely Adapted from the Work of Spider Jerusalem" on the entertainment box and says, "Christ, they've made me cuddly."

This series is not for everyone, but i will say that despite occasionally being a bit heavy on the political soapbox, it never ceased to make me laugh out loud.
