In a war torn state Dr Sherazad Dawson joins the Global Aid Organsation’s medial team, in an attempt to escape her past. But instead she finds her future in the arms of Dr Lorenzo Banducci.

Sounds like the perfect romance right? Wrong ! Lorzenso fears for Sherazad’s life and wants her out of harms way but there is no way he will be leaving his post. The only thing left for Sherazad to do is prove to Lorenzo that he means the world to her and if she hast as to lose her life to be with him so be it
5 Stars! ~ Joining the Global Aid Org. as a frontline Dr. to Sherazad was a way to put her past behind her and focus on the needs of others. She knew working in the refugee camp in the Balkans was going to be very dangerous but she was eager to learn from the famous Italian Dr. in charge. Lorenzo made a promise to his dying brother that he'd make a difference in the world by helping the victims of senseless war. When Sherazad joins his team, he can't deny the effect she has on him .

It was amazing to learn this was Olivia Gates's debut book. It read like it was written by a veteran, of romance writing as well as the tight plot and the frontline drama and medicine. Incredible story on all fronts. Really amazing and another book I'm wondering how the publisher isn't reprinting all over the place and putting it in all formats. I had to go through so much effort and expense to get a second-hand copy, and it was worth it. And really, what's with the cover? This is a frontline dr ...more

I literally can't believe this was a debut book! And that it isn't a HUGE bestseller and book club talkshow material. This book was so topical, exposes so much about the world, war and its victims, and the people who risk their lives to do what's right, to help those no one else would. I raise my hat to Olivia Gates, and I'm really wondering about the publisher who lets a book like that not only go unnoticed but get so badly packaged (I mean, seriously, this cover????) and not even make it avail ...more
An incredible debut book and a heart-stopping medical drama and romance. Doctors on The Frontline should be made into a movie if there's any justice in this world. But there isn't, so it's a forgotten book I found used, and isn't even available for download as an ebook. What's wrong with this world???
