This book is an influential life-guide for teenagers. It has different stories of teenagers around us, associated with different scenarios and cases. In addition, its pictures decorate the pages, the quotes prove illustrate and explains the views, which makes it really fun to read.

My parents noticed I was having troubles with my self-being. They forced me to read this book (I was not impressed when the put it in my hands) but after the first page i was hooked. I was so impressed with this book it's crazy. It made so much sense, and I could totally relate to it on so many different levels. I was just incredibly surprised how easy it was to read, since usually when you pick up one of these "how-to" books, they're dry and not interesting. Well, not this book! I...more

The 7 Habits of Highly Effective Teens was a very informative book. This book made me think about my life and the good and bad habits I have. I enjoyed the book because Sean Covey made his book interesting and fun to read and the book was informative.
My favorite habit was habit 2, begin with the end in mind. This habit is very important because many teens just go with the flow or do whatever they want, without really thinking about the future. Covey starts out by asking us to make a p...more

Sean Covey's The Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teens definitely has a lot of tips about how to live every day life. Though some of the advice is good and helpful, I have trouble believing everything he says. It seems to me that the author doesn't understand that these tips just don't work with some people. Real life is hardly as clean and peachy as his books makes it sound.
My favorite habit in the book is Habit Six: Synergize. Though I am skeptical of some of the tips in the book,...more

The 7 Habits Of Highly Effective Teens is about learning the 7 habits for success. Each chapter is a habit, in the chapter the author tells you how to develop it. Although you have to start from the first habit because you won't understand the next habit if you didn't start from the first one or didn't read the previous one. The 7 habits are: 1.Be proactive 2. Begin with the end in mind 3. Put first things first 4. Think Win- Win 5. Seek first to understand, then to be understood 6. Synergize 7...more

Everyone feels differently as they grow up and mature in body and mind. Mood swings, loneliness, anger, and frustration are all things that teens deal with on a daily basis. 7 Habits of a Highly Effective Teen is a inspirational book by Sean Covey that tries to help young adults realize they are NOT alone and give them a positive outlook on life and those "bumps" in the road. Sean Covey's, The Seven Habits of Highly Affective Teens, inspired
me with its techniques and stories of successful teens.
Instead of having one them, there are several in this book. One
them would be to be pro-active instead of reactive. The author of this

I have always loved guide books, books that I could always go back to. Because of this I have read many different guide books, and honestly, many of them were very repetitive. I couldn't find a very interesting book to read, but then suddenly, I saw Michelle Wong, a fellow classmate of mine, reading this book. I couldn't help but flip through it, and it was truly a book that was ...more

Recently I read the book Seven Habits of Highly Effective Teenagers. Although I was expecting it to be a total blow, it turned out to be pretty interesting. One section of the book, Habit 4, really struck my interest. This chapter, Think Win-Win, impacted me more than any of the other chapters.
In this chapter Sean Covey, the author, writes about how thinking win-win will improve life socially by letting everyone win. He also stresses the point of not thinking lose-win. Lose-win is pr...more

What a great self-help book! I loved how Sean Covey peppered the book with quotes (largely by Mark Twain, for some reason), cartoons, and little "baby steps," or examples of how one can go about practicing the seven habits in small ways. The quotes were my favorite part...that and the little vignettes by teenagers that were thrown in to demonstrated what the habits can do for you.
I definitely am planning on applying the seven habits to my life. I liked the concise way that ...more

I did a book report on this a while back. 7 Habits is a book that presents powerful lessons in personal challenge. The book presents 7 significant actions common in effective people. The first three develop personal effective characteristic- be proactive, begin with the end in mind, put first things first; the second three develop environmental interac...more

My mom actually bought me this book when I was a teen and I never read it, which is unfortunate because it is actually a good read, especially since I usually hate self-help books. It talks about time-management, establishing good relationships, setting goals, creating good attitudes – these are all things that everyone should work on, not just teens. The book is written in a style that teens can enjoy though. It doesn’t throw a lot of concentrated information on boring psychological stuff; ...more

I think this is a very good book to read. If your a teenager and your under a lot of stress, and you need help, this is the book you need to read. The book starts with the seven habits of a highly effective teen. These habits can help you improve yourself and help you become successful. Most of it is about believing you can do anything and that nothing can stop you from reaching your goals. I learned, by getting into these habits you can make life easier on yourself. The author gives you example...more

Anyone with children
When I saw this book, I had to laugh.....another product trying to cash in on the success of the original (7 Habits of Highly Effective People). Except that I LOVE the original. So I bought it, expecting mediocre stories but an opportunity to discuss the 7 habits with my children.
To my surprise, the stories themselves are actually decent. On their own, I'd give them 3 stars. To rate the potential this book has to teach, though, I'd give it 5 stars. Each habit has a story that illu...more
