Ths is the last book in the Brides of the West series and it was a great, lighthearted read. Each book in this series deal with old western atmospheres and characters that are witty, spunky and hilarious. The author drops little christian teachings here and there, but it is never over the top and too preachy, but rather a great balane with the humor, romance, and drama that these young women face as they try to discover what they are going to do with their lives. The last 3 books of the serie...more
Patience was book 6 of this series that I have been reading over the course of a couple months, and I really enjoyed this last story in this series. I admit the story started to drag just a little bit in the middle, and I was getting disenchanted with the story, but the author came through and this turned out to be a lovely story with a good ending. The characters in this story were easy to like and the storyline was very cute!
talk about some challenges!!!
good book full of conflicts w/ down to earth results.
really fell in love w/ the "ghost"!

Couldn't finish it. Too much like the others.
Stubborn! That is about all I have to say for Jay, P, Wilson and their mining ideas.
loved it!!
The last book in this series. I have enjoyed reading about God's faithfulness in the middle of misfortune. These books are quick reads, but leave me with a sense of hope. This one is dealing with similar situations, but the main character has gold fever and believes that God's answer to her problems is finding gold. While it is still a good story, I think money is a trap that Christians can easily fall prey.
Set in the “wild west”, Patience is trying to find a way to support herself and her friends who have come west where what they were promised falls through. Although she is determined to do whatever it takes she learns to put her future in other’s hands as well as learning the patience she needs to work with others.
It was an OK book, likeable characters, good story.
There just wasn't anything outrightly remarkable about the book.

This series from Copeland was little too cheesy and unbelieveable for me.
I love the Brides of the West series! Great books.
