This was a heart renching tale of love. Captured by the enemy Normans, Maire was torn between protecting her brothers and the enemy Ducan she had come to love. Pretending she couldn't remember who she was gave her time to plan an escape, but truely she wanted to stay.This one reduced me to tears....a fabulous gripping tale.
Then there was the brother Niall the women he thought he was to marry...turned out to want another....hope there is a book for him.

It was an okay book. It had all the potential in the world to be a great chick lit but failed. The plot was amazing but i wished there had been more character development between the two love interests. It was underwhelming.
Hmmm i did kinda like it but not as good as the 1st book - Wild Angel. I still want to read Niall's story.
I was pleasantly surprised by the sweetness of both the hero and the heroine. I love how Minger manages to write books that are both romantic and historically interesting! This one is the sequel to Wild Angel, so be sure to read that one first! :-)
